Discovery - a curious connection.

Many moons ago, when I was searching for a cure and researching just about anything and everything that appealed to me, I came across Biodynamic Psychotherapy so off I went for an introductory weekend workshop.
There were about 5 of us, all with different reasons for being there but all with an interest in body/mind healing techniques, whether we were suffering or whether we wanted to train in this approach.
During this weekend, the course leader mentioned that a colleague of hers had treated numerous people with M.E./CFS and every one of those people had had some sort of accident that involved "damage" to the base of the spine. I took note! When I was 18, I had fallen off a horse and landed somewhat heavily on my bottom and though that part of me wasn't hurt, I did fracture a bone in my lumbar spine.

Of course, I can't know whether everyone who has or has had M.E./CFS has hurt themselves AND my condition did manifest after a viral infection BUT....it is a curious connection. And obviously not everyone who falls off a horse or hurts themselves in this way will get CFS. I mention it as a course of chiropractic might well help to restore alignments and energy flows in the body. For me, it has resolved long term indigestion issues, increased flexibility and I do have increased energy levels following treatment.
